"Rise above the noise!"
The Secrets!
Keywords: Internet marketing promotion, dvd instruction, internet and marketing, cd business card, marketing on internet, marketing promotion, make podcast, infocard, and  how to podcast.
The Big Picture: On the right is a picture of the "big picture" of rising above the noise on the Internet. The picture is too small to really see, so you can click on it for a larger view.  Once that is up, you can then follow this disscusion to show you the secret of the big picture.

I know this big picture diagram looks like a mess.  However I will do my best to explain how this all fits together.

First you will see, at the heart of your strategy is your website.  You will see that this is called out as a good SEOed website plus using research and verified key words.  It's very important that you research your keywords with real data from the Internet such that you know the popularity of the key word and also the competition from other

webpages with that keyword.  If you do not maximize your website with powerful keywords there is little hope of you ever showing up on the first page of Google.  Now once you have done this there are other factors that will drive your Google ranking.

Off page podcasting or an off page podcasting site is crucial in a good optimization strategy.  Realizing also that all the show notes for the podcast will use your keywords and point back to your website.

Also using an off page blog is another key factor in your Google ranking.  All of your blog entries should be keyword heavy, the same keywords used on your webpage and your podcasting site.  You should do blog entries at least three times a week, and make sure you use keywords from your site.

You should start writing articles for Web 2.0 properties, which utilize your keywords and also point back to your podcast and blog site.  This helps you to get what they call "back links".  Google utilizes back links for page authority and page ranking.  In a perfect world, you should attempt to put up at least three new articles per week.  These articles of course utilize your keywords for your site and also point back to your other properties.

You should also attempt to use face book and twitter to point back to your web properties.  These strategies you have to use with some reserve as not to make it to commercial but to add to your community.

A great source of inspiration is to utilize Google reader.  Google reader allows you to find webpages and blog pages that have content in your niche market.  It allows you to read and therefore you can write articles based on other peoples work or inspiration.

Also connected to your website is of course your product or service.  If you're going to drive traffic to your site you want to make sure and sell something because it's called capitalism not communism.

Lastly, using a software such as "market samurai", will allow you to do your keyword research and also to track your progress as you move towards the front page of Google for your particular keywords.  There is other software you can use and I will leave this up to the reader to decide what they want to purchase.

One of the biggest concepts here is relationship selling. One of the goals that we are pushing here is to become a subject matter expert in your field.  Specifically, your approaches above; which drive your SME status are: Web 2.0 properties, your podcasting site, your blog, and twitter.  Your large goal, as I said before, is to become a subject matter expert (SME) in your field.  This gives you the authority and prestige within your market area and therefore people will trust you and purchase.

Finally, in this diagram, is something called traffic bug.  This is a software which you can subscribe to that you can submit your particular articles, podcasts, and website too many different Web 2.0 properties.  The service increases your back links and helps to determine your authority.  This concludes my discussion on "the big picture" for the secrets section of the Infocard website.
Drive Traffic to your siteDriving traffic to your site is paramount because if you have no traffic you can't sell anything to anyone.  It's very sad but very true.  Let's take a look at the diagram of how to drive traffic or in my sketch is called traffic driving.

Being at the heart of this diagram is your website using key words and good SEO on page concepts.  Again the key words are in fact at the heart of your success for gaining position in your Internet space.  Not just any keyword, however keywords that are popular but have low competition.  In connection to your website you have three other entities, those being your podcast site, your blog and your Web 2.0 articles.  These Web 2.0 articles can be placed at various different Web 2.0 properties, for example, hubpages.com, webbly.com, squido.com and ezine.com.
Each of these Web 2.0 article property sites require original material and therefore make sure you read the rules.  These articles, once written and posted, should then be entered into two different sets of software to help drive traffic.  The first software is market samurai, which will help track your articles against your keywords and the second software is traffic bug.  Again there are various forms of traffic bug on the web to choose from so just keep that in mind.  It's a lot of work to write articles and a tie them into all of your various software's but this is at the heart of driving organic traffic to your site.  Organic traffic is defined as traffic that fine you naturally in contrast to a paid search result.

You can also see from the diagram that all blog entries, podcast, new webpages on your site, and articles need to be submitted into traffic bug.  This helps to drive traffic to you, organically, and assist you in your page ranking in Google.  Again make sure you use your keywords that you optimize for in your website, in all of your other web properties.  This ensures relevance for Google and you will reap the rewards of utilizing the strategy.

Overall Traffic Factors: Here this diagram, I have listed for basic items; articles, adwords, organic, and back links.  Considering the articles, which we haven't really discussed much, these articles will consist of 200 to 500 words and be keyword heavy.  You can also utilize paid services to drive traffic into your site.  Google utilizes something called " Adwords”, and face book has an equivalent service.  Face book will be a significant player in the near future and target marketing your particular niche market.  This little diagram also shows you should use real data to determine your keywords and then something I'm calling "trend keywords".  I believe that there can be keywords associated with your niche market that could be trendy.  I will have more on that as that particular topic matures.  So your site, blog, and podcasts site should drive traffic via your articles, your organics, you're back links, and possibly your adword campaigns.  I am not an expert on adwords so the best I could do would be to refer you to a book.
