"Rise above the noise!"
Making Money
Yes, you heard me right "making money is a relatively simple thing".  How might you ask?  It's a multifaceted answer however let's take the first step.

If you are not in close contact with potential customers, i.e., this translates into "traffic", you will not be able to convert anyone into a customer.  Without traffic you can't sell anything to anybody.  I once had a friend who said if you want more business knock on more doors.  It's just that simple.  Why most of us don't do that is, most likely, that we don't want to be rejected or in some cases we do not have the tools or the know-how to knock on more doors.  In the brick-and-mortar world, you attend more social functions, Rotary gigs, and other networking functions.  You might even try dialing for dollars or other direct advertisement schemes.  But basically you have to develop traffic in order to make money.  Now a word of caution of course not all traffic will translate directly into customers, the New World calls that “conversion”.  In the web world we specifically design websites to monitor the analytics, of our traffic and then moving them to conversion or has it been known in the past "sales".

So you see sales will come from both your physical activities and your Internet activities; which need to be integrated into one marketing approach.  Thus, I started out with the concept of "integrated marketing".  Does this mean you have to throw everything out?  Of course not.

It does mean however that you need to take a look at your brick-and-mortar marketing and see how you might infuse technology into your current approaches.  For example, I will spend very little time here about this however will go into detail about business card CD-ROMs.  A business card is supposed to be given to a potential client and it has your contact information on the front.  Usually, their business card is designed so that they remember you, which is really the purpose of a business card.  Take a look at the picture below and what you see is a business card CD-ROM.
Keywords: Internet marketing promotion, dvd instruction, internet and marketing, cd business card, marketing on internet, marketing promotion, make podcast, infocard, and  how to podcast.
It carries 10 minutes of video, clickable sections that will take the viewer to your website or other internet properties, and when you give this out... They will always remember you; which is what a business card is supposed to do!

High technology business card! It carries 10 minutes of video and connects your potential client to your web properties!
The label performs the exact function of a business card, in that it has your contact information printed on it.  But the fact that the CD-ROM business card causes quite a stir and conversational piece when compared to a standard business card.  I think you can see that it fulfills the function of “they will remember you”.  When they take the CD-ROM back to their office they will not throw it away as they do scanner business cards because it has a perceived value to it.  When they put it in their computer, the CD-ROM business card, carries up to 10 minutes of video and clickable sections.

You must remember that people purchase with emotion backed up by logic. The video on the CD-ROM business card is of course the emotional part of the purchase equation, and clickable sections will contain text and pictures, which is the logic part of the equation.  You see, this as a great fusion of technology with an old concept.  This is just one of many things you can do to fuse technology with your brick-and-mortar marketing.

So if traffic equals potential clients, how do we develop traffic?  Well it's relatively easy in principle to develop more traffic both to your Internet space and your brick-and-mortar company.  But specifically let's focus on the Internet and here's how you do it…. click here
